Black Angus Beef

Importance of Local Beef
Finding a source of premium quality, fine tasting beef is becoming more difficult. Often beef within the US is imported from other countries where health guidelines aren't as strict. Cattle raised in these countries may be fed contaminated feeds. Prior to processing, these cattle may undergo stress resulting in tougher beef. Many of the processing plants in other countries do not meet USDA health standards.
On Sisters View Ranch, our cattle are raised in a stress-free environment, with these added benefits:
- Calves are born and raised on our ranch on grass pastures
- All cattle are grass fed
- All cattle are cared for in a stress-free environment; not in feedlots or confined spaces
- Our beef has less fat and cholesterol than grain finished beef
- Grass fed beef is higher in Omega-3 fatty acids than grain finished beef
- Grass fed beef has more than 3 times the level of Conjugated Linoleic Acid than grain finished beef, which can help prevent weight gain
- More antioxidant vitamins
- All beef is USDA certified and inspected
